Rocking Fountain & Pump Kit This fountain, known as the "shishi odoshi" or "deer scarer" was originally used to frighten animals away from garden areas. The bamboo arm fills with water, rocks forward to empty, and then rocks back to make a gentle clacking sound.
The combination of movement and sound creates an interesting and dynamic water feature. This fountain is very easy to install because it's designed as a single unit mounted to realistic, rock-like base. You can leave this base exposed or cover it with decorative rocks. All of our bamboo products are pressure treated with non-toxic boron for 100% insect protection and mold resistance. Our fountain spouts are made of a high-grade bamboo that resists splitting. All fountain kits include a pump and arrive in retail-ready packaging.
