Tre Gai is a large diameter, “structurally solid” variety of bamboo pole from Vietnam.

As with the Tam Vong variety, Tre Gai has a wall thickness that will take a nail or screw without splitting and has an incredible tensile strength. This makes is suitable for a wide variety of construction applications.

Tre Gai is available in diameters from 2 inches to 4 inches (larger diameters can be custom ordered depending on availability). We offer up to 12 foot lengths standard and can provide longer sizes upon request.

Our poles are offered milled or unmilled.Options include: sanding and finishing, squared edges, calibration, half rounds, quarter rounds, flat strips and much more. Let us know what you need and we will do our best to help you.

The Bamboo Team uses a unique, 100% effective pressure treatment system to eradicate all insects.
